The BBM and B.com programmes at Excel aim to provide and equip students with the all important basic business understanding and intellectual skills needed to be a business professional. The programmes are well structured and are designed to support a range of activities which help students adopt an innovative approach which is appropriate and essential for rapidly changing corporate scenario. A highly practice oriented and exhaustive curriculum enables students to opt and orient themselves towards greater professional goals and ambitions. The all important feature of these programmes are the career skills and business leadership practices which are given importance and are intertwined with the academics right from the beginning of the programme.

The Bachelor programme in Computer Applications aims to provide a critical understanding of the latest in information technology and communication systems which are considered as critical components of almost every company's strategic plan and output. The programme has the learning components related computer science principles and the practical modules train to solve problems produced by the interface between various aspects of technology. The learning objectives for BCA programme are to demonstrate a sound knowledge in key areas of computer science or industrial computing, to carry out the required analysis and synthesis involved in computer systems, information systems and computer applications, to demonstrate professional competence in developing software and in its design and implementation and to develop sound practical skills to enable them to addressing problems which arise from computer systems and applications.

The undergraduate programmes of Excel aim to educate students in the science and practice of respective discipline. The emphasis is on hands-on practical training and skill development.
