Also, students and teachers are encouraged to participate and attend various seminars and workshops organized elsewhere. Excel faculty and students have presented various research papers in the recent past. Regular workshops are conducted under Total Personality Development activities which bring in the best in the students and also fine-tune the various skills they have.

Excel's planning and curriculum management is designed to facilitate effective work-sessions have been used extensively by both teachers and students for strategic planning process. The seminars and workshops strongly emphasize precise business understanding as well as other considerations from the real business world in which corporate conducts their business and the workshops essentially become the starting point to the overall business planning process. The workshop activities invariably provide a context in which the customer requirements, strategic imperatives and values of a business organization can be explored and supported for strategies and action plans.
